How different is Chrome from Chromium?
Chrome and Chromium are two different browsers built on the same open source project, although they are not identical. Chromium is the open source project from which Google’s Chrome browser is developed and maintained. The two browsers have much in common; both use the Webkit engine, and both frequently update to reflect changes in the HTML5 standard. Chromium has a few additional features that Chrome does not have: it supports multiple languages, it can import bookmarks from other browsers, and it can be used as an alternative to installing Firefox or Opera.
