Don’t waste your time reading too much. I remember when I wanted to learn JS I sat there reading for long. Then I switched to reading online on W3school, it was good experience bu then the examples pushed me to dive into the JS. The best thing is learning while scripting, choose suitabe projects, try to complete them and the Internet will help you if you get stuck.
It is really exciting and easy to learn JS, if you set your mind to completing it. But if you progress further then you will have decision at hand. Choosing a framework. That is hard so be ready, you were warned. Till then get on it!
