Greetings folks!
After a year of slow adoption, the recent shift to remote work has finally pushed Microsoft Teams into daily use across our company. Adoption has gone really well—people are engaged and excited about it now.
I want to keep that momentum going and thought showcasing some useful or fun Teams apps might help. What apps do you love using in Teams, and how do they help your workflow?
Looking forward to your awesome suggestions!
Hi! @archna.vv I must say, it is surely a great topic to keeping the momentum going with Teams.
I’ve been loving the Planner app inside Teams. It’s great for managing simple team tasks without needing a full-blown project management tool. We use it for weekly goals and team checklists—super handy during remote standups.
Also, the Praise app is a nice touch to recognize people, and it keeps morale up.
Hope these suggestions are helpful!
Quite frankly speaking, @archna.vv , you are a life saviour for many out there because these apps can become their bread and butter for their remote work life and mentions of Planner and Praise by @netra.agarwal was seriously commendable, even I use these.
I also have a suggestion to contribute to this. We use Polly a lot—perfect for quick polls and feedback without breaking the flow of a conversation. It’s great for voting on meeting times or even light team engagement stuff like “What should our next team lunch theme be?” Keeps things interactive and fun!
Highly recommend giving Polly a try for easy interaction!
Heyyy @archna.vv @netra.agarwal @dipen-soni I see we all are teams app explorers. Well, jumping into the thread about favourite Teams apps, following the suggestions of Planner, Praise, and Polly
One of my favorites is Trello integrated directly into Teams. We manage all our project boards from there, and it saves a lot of tab switching.
Also, Who is surprisingly useful—it helps new team members find who does what. Kind of underrated but really helpful in larger orgs.
Hope these two app ideas are useful!
