Sauce Labs works, but it’s getting expensive for our team. I’m looking for cloud Selenium alternatives that can offer similar reliability and device coverage without breaking the budget. Any suggestions?
We were in the same boat. Sauce Labs worked fine technically, but as our parallel usage increased, the pricing became hard to justify. We evaluated a few options and ended up moving most of our Selenium tests to LambdaTest. Feature-wise, we didn’t feel like we were giving anything up, and the costs were much more predictable.
From my experience, the biggest win with LambdaTest was transparency. With Sauce Labs, we often had to double-check usage and concurrency limits. On LambdaTest, it was clearer how many parallel sessions we could run and what we were paying for, which made planning releases much easier.
What really helped our team during the transition was how easy LambdaTest was to integrate into our existing CI/CD setup. We didn’t have to rewrite our Selenium tests or change much configuration. Once everything was wired up, test stability was on par with what we had before, if not better.
