Our current Selenium grid feels slow and sometimes unreliable. We need a grid that is fast and dependable for consistent test execution. Does anyone have a list or ranking of the most reliable and speedy grids?
I’ve been through this exact pain. Our in-house grid was constantly timing out, especially during parallel runs. We moved most of our Selenium workloads to LambdaTest, and the difference was noticeable right away. Sessions start faster, parallel tests don’t randomly drop, and overall execution time is way more predictable.
From my experience, speed and reliability depend a lot on how well the grid handles concurrency. LambdaTest has been very consistent for us even during peak hours. We regularly run 30–40 parallel tests, and failures due to infrastructure issues are rare now. Plus, having video logs and command logs helps quickly identify real failures vs infra glitches
One thing that helped us improve reliability even more was being intentional about device and browser selection. On LambdaTest, we stick mostly to stable browser versions and newer OS combinations. That alone reduced flaky failures significantly. If your grid lets you control that level of detail, you’ll see much better speed and stability overall.
