We want to use real devices to upload an image on their website/app using camera, but since you have already informed that it will be available soon, is there any workaround for the same until then?

Yes, there is a workaround for this. You can follow these steps -
1)Upload image to the device: either download it from Google Images
2)Upload from Google Drive & download it on the device.
Now when you get an option to browse, click on File Manager/Gallery to upload it from there.
