Is POM a framework or implementation model?
POM is often referred to as a framework, but it’s really more of an implementation of what we’ve learned from our own experiences and those of other successful companies: a set of principles that any company can apply in order to accomplish great things.
The people who are most successful with POM are the ones who trust their own judgment about how best to apply POM’s principles to their individual circumstance. Rather than looking at POM as a strict set of rules, they treat it as sort of a template—a guide on what might be effective in certain situations, but not necessarily the best solution for all situations.
