Images are broken on iOS simulators. Can you help here?

We noticed that Apple recently added support for AVIF image format on ios 16.x but this hasn’t been added to simulators as of now.
We can see that for iOS 16.x the images we’re getting images in AVIF format. But for other versions in WEBP too, as both are compression techniques.
This is a limitation of the Apple ecosystem, but the AVIF format is supported on Real Devices. We noticed that the website loads as per expectation on real devices and on simulators of versions less than 16.x.
