Revisiting this topic. With the ability to run tests against Appium 2.0 now, I can’t figure out which capability to pass to specify the version. The tool you linked is not working for me. I can’t change any of the inputs.

Thanks for reaching out again!

As of now, there is no capability for appium version. It is still in development however we support Appium version 2.0 beta for now which is used with device installation by default.

Thanks for the reply. I think I’m missing something here. Are you saying it should default to Appium 2.0 Beta? On the test I tried to run from Appium Inspector, it seems to default to v1.22.3

Also, this blog post mentions the ability to “test with multiple versions of Appium” was released in October. Is this just a feature that is in the works?

Please use the capability "appiumVersion ": "2.0"
