How do I change to Java 8 in IntelliJ?

Change the Java runtime that IntelliJ IDEA uses. Select Help | Find Action from the main menu, or press Ctrl+Shift+A. For the IDE activity, look for and select Choose Boot Java Runtime. Click OK after selecting the desired runtime. Allow IntelliJ IDEA to reload with the new runtime before proceeding.
