Android Studio, the latest IDE for Android developers, is built on IntelliJ IDEA. We’re pleased to report that Android Studio, Google’s new IDE for Android development developed in collaboration with JetBrains, is based on the IntelliJ Platform with IntelliJ IDEA Community Edition capabilities.
