Yeah, I feel that! After switching to Chrome, I also searched for Chrome extensions that replicate Firefox’s Tree Style Tab. I’ve been using Sidewise Tree Style Tabs for a while. It hasn’t been updated in a while, but it still gets the job done. It opens a side panel in a separate window where you can create a tab hierarchy. The auto-grouping feature is pretty hit or miss though, you’ll often find yourself manually moving tabs to keep things organized.
The user experience isn’t as smooth as what Firefox offers, and honestly, Chrome just doesn’t give you the same level of tab control. But for now, it’s the best I’ve been able to find.
