A modal dialog box is a small window that appears on top of the main window. This type of window is mostly used when the user needs to make a decision. The advantage of using a modal dialog box is that the user will not be able to do anything else until he/she has made a decision and clicked on one of the buttons inside the dialog box.
A modal dialog box can be created using javascript or css. To create a modal window in javascript you first need to create an HTML page with script tags at the end of it. Inside these script tags, you need to add your JavaScript code.
