You might want to try TextNow—it gives you a free number that works for texting, and I haven’t had issues with sites rejecting it. It’s also a good alternative to TextPlus.
Just be aware, some sites might still be wary of numbers from apps like these, but in my experience, TextNow has been more reliable than others for sign-ups.
