This is a really generic question. What type of tests do you have in mind? Unit tests? Component/integration tests? UI tests? PyUnit is (or it used to be) the default framework for unit tests, but it’s used for pretty much all types of automated testing nowadays. Probably a better idea is to starting using PyTest, a more “pythonic” framework, with better introspections, straightforward assertions (based on language’s assert), organization of tests (using marks), test fixtures (not the usual setup/teardown from xUnit frameworks), elegant test parametrization, tons of useful plugins.
